Imagining Cultures: Foraging Band

The group is a band that forages. They are very expressive people, the kind that not only talk with their hands but with their whole torso. They are always in motion and always carrying open expressions. They believe that their is a higher power, though they may not name it. They know the human has a soul and they believe that everything has an energy and balance. This belief is what helps them govern their people.
They govern without a real head or political system, they trust and communicate with each other. They don’t deal out punishment for small crimes believing that bad energy will come back to you. However if the whole band is in agreement of the severity of a crime they will reprimand/punish someone for something. Overall everyone governs their own problems and deals with them themselves.

As a foraging culture it is everyone’s job to find food. Young children help store and clean the food that is found with the elders who tell them stories of their band. The elders are also the ones usually making the clothes out of whatever they can find. They tend to wear darker clothes to keep themselves hidden from dangerous creatures in the wild. The teenagers and adults divide the job of finding/setting up shelter or finding food amongst themselves, frequently changing jobs as they please.

While the Blue station, closer affiliated to WJZ, was used to test drive unaired programs or host less popular programs, such as news. It had been said that the network was split because of the colored pins being placed on their bulletin board, but...
