Wheres and Whens: Space and Time World

It’s the driver that makes a car what it is. A manufacturer makes a car for harsh terrains or families, but a driver is what makes it an explorer, a friend or a transit between worlds. Some drivers travel across countries, some travel between of the barrier of life and death: these travelers would be the Reapers.
A creature that has never been alive or dead, Reapers work under Death to transport souls between this life and the next. They happen to do it in a wide array of cars and ancient vehicles. Each Reaper gains their vehicle on their first journey into the world of the living. Hitching a ride with a senior Reaper, the younger Reaper is dropped off where their first soul is waiting to die. Once they have the soul they will take a vehicle and drive it and the soul back over to the afterlife.
When collecting souls Reapers can only be seen by those who are dead or on the verge of death. Not that they stay long enough to be seen. They much prefer the still calm of their home then the quickly changing and passing time of the world of the living.
In the afterlife time does not exist. New Reapers are occasionally created by Death as the population on Earth increases, but otherwise the world of the Reapers is still. Reapers don’t sleep but instead can be found in the various hangouts in the afterlife. They modeled the hotspots after popular places of gathering on Earth. It so happened that most of them were restaurants. They wanted the souls to have a place to spend eternity with their loved ones without being bothered by the lack of time flowing.

Aside from the soul residents of the afterlife, the Reapers can be found at their various offices scattered throughout. They are always busy. Whether they are collecting souls or just assisting them in the beyond, they are doing their job constantly as conduits between life and death.

Nerd Trope: Radio Vampires

NBC (National Broadcasting Company) network officially launched their radio operations on November 15, 1923. They were working with WEAF and WJZ. Both of which were companies affiliated with AT&T who, at the time, were the owners of the radio lines. WEAF was stationed in New York City; while WJZ originated in Newark, New Jersey and after the their purchase from Westinghouse, were moved to New York City as well. On the night of the launching of NBC reporters were calling it the most pretentious programing line-up broadcasting had ever seen. After a few years live, NBC formally divided into two networks, Red and Blue. The Red station, closer affiliated to WEAF, was their staple station. It hosted the more popular and stronger programs. While the Blue station, closer affiliated to WJZ, was used to test drive unaired programs or host less popular programs, such as news. It had been said that the network was split because of the colored pins being placed on their bulletin board, but...
